About Republic, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in portions of Christian and Greene Counties, Republic, Missouri is a thriving city with approximately 16,300 residents. It is conveniently located about 13 miles southwest of Springfield and 45 miles northwest of Branson. This community is served by the Republic School District which consists of five elementary schools, one middle school, and Republic High School.

While Republic is primarily a residential community, there are a few interesting places to check out within the city limits. History buffs can take a self-guided tour through Wilson’s Creek National Battlefield. Outdoor recreation is popular at J.R. Martin Park and Brookline Park, as well as the Island Green Golf Club. With many great restaurants to suit any palate, visitors may wish to stop for a meal at Village Pottery Café, Beefcakes, or Rocco’s Italian Kitchen. Specialty shops in the area also make a great place to get a unique gift, especially Heaven’s Scent Flowers & Gifts and Mooneyham Junction.

Located within a humid subtropical climate zone, Republic features varied weather conditions throughout the year. Summers here are hot and humid, and daytime highs often reach above 90 degrees Fahrenheit. On these hottest of days, most Republic residents will stay cool by remaining indoors in the comfort of their central air conditioning.

Winter weather in Republic is cold, and average daily highs reach about 42 degrees in January. Still, there are over 15 days per year in which high temperatures fail to rise above the freezing point, and some evenings see temperatures at below-zero readings. To stay safe and warm at home throughout these conditions, residents will need to invest in a gas or electric furnace. Some Nixa residents may opt for a new, Energy Star furnace, but regular maintenance can keep existing systems in optimal working order. Routine inspections with a Republic HVAC specialist can lead to a safer home and lower energy bills while also prolonging the life of the furnace.
